A teenage boffin has beaten tech giants Apple and Google in the race to launch the world’s first fully functional smartwatch.
Siddant Vats, 17, from Barnet in North London led a group of young entrepreneurs in creating a watch which allows the wearer to make phone calls, listen to music and take pictures.
The watch, called Androidly, runs on the Android operating system and can be loaded with 100,000 apps from the Google Play Store.
